Pre-New Years with The Pat McLaughlin Band and Guests

It was the Friday before New Years in 2018. I was at Wilebski’s Blues Saloon where some of the best local and international Blues bands and singer have entertained at. I knew I was in for a treat to hear The Pat McLaughlin Band. I had listened to this band many times, and I have never been disappointed. This event they were blessed with several others who joined in the celebration of New Years! The picture above is the starting band for the night with an added special keyboard player and singer.

I’ve written about this band and the band members before. On the drums is Taco and people call him. JD on bass, Sam on the keyboard and Pat McLaughlin is the lead guitar and singer. There were three drummers taking turns drumming that night. These are the other two drummers that night.

Guest appearance from Drummer Allen Kirk whom I wrote about almost a year ago.

This event was defiantly an all-star music event. With Pat McLaughlin leading the way and putting it all together. Pat, as his friends call him picked some best drummers in the Minneapolis/ Saint Paul area to play that night along with a special keyboard player.

Wilebski’s Blues Saloon was pack with people were singing along, dancing and enjoying the year-end celebration a few days before New Year’s. I have to say here Pat is known for putting on a great event whether a music event, a Vet benefit or another music event. Great job guys! It was a blast! Let’s do it again next year!
