Snapshot: Open Jam with Kris Vox and The TC Hit Squad

It was a Wednesday night and I wanted to do something different so I went to one of my favorite places for music Route 47 Pub and Grub. I had heard there were a Rock and Roll Jam Session there every Wednesday night so I took a friend with me. We only had a few hours that night but I was amazed by the new talent was there that night.
The Jam Session is open to anyone and should sign up online. As with most Jam Session, they have their core people and host for the evening whom play a few songs then the guest jammer come up and play on their instrument or sing.
I was delighted to see a young man of 11 years of age come up to play the drums. This young man played very well. I see a star in the making with great talent at a young age. I had learned earlier all ages are encouraged to come on stage by the sound guy. If I ever want to know what is going on, the sound guy knows it all!
It didn’t take long for the Route 47 Pub and Grub to fill up with musicians and fans. I love the large stage they have and great food! This is defiantly a great place to have a Jam Session.
