I have to say that this time, I was very surprised by the exquisite music from the MoJo Monks band. I usually take pictures before and during the band’s presentation, and then I record a few songs. I did not do that this time. I enjoyed listening to their music and dancing with just about everyone there. I was at the Everett McClay VFW in Bloomington.
I was so pleasantly distracted by the perfect music presentations that I could not just take pictures and videos. I just could not do my job. As you all know, that usually is not the case with me. MoJo Monks music delighted my ears and intertwined with my soul. I could feel the music, and I was not the only one. What a fantastic band!
I have listened to thousands of bands and reviewed some of them, but this band really moved me. They have great harmony, the right notes and pitch, and a stage presence that draws the crowd into their amazing music. I have to say this is the top band I have heard this year.
Great solo spot and harmony singing. Well-blended backup singing. Shh, this is as close to a perfect band as you can get.
So, get yourself out there in Minneapolis/Saint Paul and the surrounding area to watch, listen to, and dance to the Mojo Monks. From time to time, they will be in Wisconsin and outer Minnesota.
You have Denny, a delightful singer who plays a mean guitar. Megan is the fabulous lead female singer. Jules is the soulful bass man who also sings in the band. Then there is Jon on the Keyboard, the soul man who sings. Last is Troy, the drummer, to keep everyone on the beat.
