The Cobras

The Cobras’ long-standing performance at Wicked Wort Brewing has been a blessing for many fans. Not only do they get great beer, but they also get the best Twin Cities Rhythm and Blues band, an icon of music in the area.

The Cobra’s band has been at the Minnesota State Fair, blues fair, large music establishments, small-town bars, and in local yards to spread the music to the community far and wide. Their great blues music put everyone in awe of their great music. Playing the Minnesota Blues, Southern Blues, Chicago Blues, Hip Blues, Mississippi Blues, and some jazz. The Cobra’s is a Mecca of blues upbeat music. I am never disappointed when I hear The Cobras start their music. They are also known as Cobras to many of their fans. I am very much a dedicated long-time fan. I am a long-time friend and fan, and many of the local and Midwest blues community love The Cobras. Shh, even some of my rock and roll friends love The Cobras. When my friends and I are talking about great long lasting great music, the band The Cobras often comes up. A mentor to many other bands in the Twin Cities area.

Tom Ferring in The Cobras is one of my long-term friends, and I have seen many other band members follow the lead of Tom Ferring’s band and bandmates. I often see either Tom or his bandmates join in and help lead for local fundraising, promoting values and collaborations among bands. Whether they are in the blues community or other genre musicians and singers. I just seem to blend in and observe what happens in the music communities, locally in my area or worldwide. I have to say we have something special here.

Although The Cobras have undergone some changes, they are still strong in the music community and in my heart. I highly recommend anyone see The Cobras, or better yet, book them for your event. They are a lasting treasure in the music community.
